Mason enjoys partnering with entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations to help them thrive. He’s drawn to the passion and purpose that drive these groups and finds fulfillment in helping them strengthen their financial foundation for long-term sustainability. With a knack for numbers—and a gift for interpreting the story they tell—Mason provides the insight and guidance organizations need to make confident, informed decisions.
His background spans public accounting, corporate finance, and community development. Mason began his career in public accounting, conducting audits for mid- to large-scale businesses and nonprofit organizations. He later joined Gibson Guitar in internal accounting before spending more than a decade in Community Development Finance, helping small businesses start and scale in economically challenged areas. In addition to his professional work, Mason has served on multiple nonprofit boards, supporting those organizations in maximizing their impact.
Mason is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Economic Developer in Tennessee. He grew up near Owensboro, Kentucky, and now lives in Chattanooga with his family. Outside of work, they enjoy exploring the outdoors, visiting small towns, and supporting local businesses wherever they go.
