Meet Carlos Walker

Seeing relationships as more important than numbers, Carlos believes great connections are built on trust. And that’s exactly what has motivated him in his first 15 years in the financial industry: being a trusted advisor.

Carlos has a diverse professional background, with experience as an internal auditor, as well as in accounting, controller, and CFO roles. In his capacity as a controller and CFO, Carlos offered accounting and tax compliance services to small and medium-sized nonprofits. Before this, he spent 15 years in the banking and financial services industry, working as an internal auditor and controller. His roles as an internal auditor included serving as Assistant Vice President of Internal Audit at a local bank and as an Internal Auditor within the central banking system.

Carlos is also a proud lifelong Kansas Citian. From his BA from DeVry University to his MS at Keller Graduate School of Management and, lastly, his CPA license from the state of Missouri, he has grown and thrived in the area. Carlos has built an amazing life with his wife of 20+ years and his four children. By volunteering at his local church, on several non-profit boards and in local juvenile detention centers, he’s also building a stronger community.
