Lyn has always appreciated the consistency and reliability of numbers. Accounting offers structure, clarity, and dependable results, which is why she is drawn to it. Lyn enjoys solving problems and organizing information in ways that promote accuracy, efficiency, and thoughtful decision-making.
Throughout her career, Lyn has demonstrated a strong ability to bring order to complex systems. She developed a comprehensive inventory pricing database comparing multiple vendors using advanced Excel formulas, built entirely without macros. She also reorganized and streamlined a significantly backlogged accounts payable department, bringing all outstanding items current across multiple business entities by year-end. Her work reflects a careful, methodical approach, as well as a commitment to seeing projects through to completion.
Lyn values precision and continuous improvement, approaching each task with focus and follow-through to ensure dependable results.
Originally from the Midwest, she eventually made her way back to the Kansas City area, which she now proudly calls home. She earned her associate degree from Johnson County Community College, consistently making the Dean’s Honor List.
Outside of work, Lyn enjoys creating art that brings joy to others and exploring hands-on creative projects. She is also actively involved in historical reenactment through a long-standing hobby community.
