Jim has spent his career using technology to help businesses work smarter. With a lifelong interest in process improvement, he’s passionate about helping business owners solve problems, streamline operations, and achieve their goals through practical, data-driven solutions.
Jim began his career as a consultant for a CPA firm before founding his own consulting practice, where he spent more than two decades helping regional companies enhance efficiency through technology and process improvements. As cloud services began reshaping small business operations in the early 2000s, he guided clients through transitions to scalable digital systems once reserved for large corporations. In 2018, he joined a diesel repair company as Operations Manager, where he helped scale the business—boosting gross revenue by more than 50% and net profit by nearly 200% over six years.
Born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri, Jim earned his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and now lives in Platte City, MO. Outside of work, he enjoys smoking brisket for friends and family, riding motorcycles, and hiking wooded trails. Jim also finds fulfillment in helping his neighbors with local projects and spending time with his wife and adult children.
