Meet Jessica Moore

Jessica always had an interest in numbers and financial systems, as well as strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. She spent the first 25+ years of her career in restaurant management starting as an hourly employee and working her way up to general manager. She enjoyed working in the kitchen and, as a Certified Lead Culinary Manager, worked on teams dispatched throughout the company to assist struggling restaurants. As a restaurant manager, she had to interpret and analyze revenue, expenses, profit, inventory, and cash flow. Finding she enjoyed that part of her work the most, she decided to make a career out of it. Recognizing small businesses play a significant role in supporting the local economy, she enjoys helping them succeed and contribute to creating jobs, reducing environmental impact, and reinvesting profits in their communities.

A Missouri native, Jessica has lived most of her adult life in Kansas City and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University in September 2022.

Willing to volunteer for any worthy cause, Jessica helped raise money for and plan The Midwestern Cattle Baron’s Ball for the American Cancer Society for several years, and she is particularly passionate about women’s rights and organizations that support single mothers, abuse victims, and the houseless such as Hope House and Kansas City Heroes. In her free time, Jessica loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.
