Meet Austin McClure

Austin considers accounting to be the “language of business,” providing insight into all facets of business operations, including management and finance. He enjoys getting that comprehensive understanding because it offers him the opportunity to make a difference in the business.

Similarly, his experience in auditing financial statements and preparing tax returns for high-wealth individuals has allowed him to grasp multiple areas of accounting. Through that work, he learned how executives manage changes their businesses face throughout the year. He also gained an understanding of wealth management, tax efficiency, and tax law.

Born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and raised in Topeka, Kansas, Austin holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Kansas. As a licensed CPA in Missouri and Kansas, Austin has enjoyed the relationships he has built throughout his career with co-workers and clients.

As if accounting is not exhilarating enough, Austin has been drag racing since he was 8-years-old. He comes from a drag-racing family, and he has raced on tracks from coast to coast. His car goes from 0 mph to 150 mph in four seconds and can get to 185 mph in seven seconds.

Austin also volunteers with various nonprofits. He enjoys knowing he helped someone in need and also seeing how these organizations are able to operate on the scale they do.
