Amelia discovered her love for accounting while obtaining her associate degree from Johnson County Community College (JCCC). This led her to pursue and earn her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Kansas.
After college, Amelia accepted a position in Topeka at a public accounting firm where she audited hospitals and other health care entities located in the Midwest. After working for a year in public accounting and many months of non-stop studying for the CPA exam, Amelia became a licensed CPA. Wanting to be closer to family in Kansas City, she began exploring her career options. She worked in internal audit at a bank temporarily before realizing she wanted to perform the accounting work rather than audit it. Joining e2E as a Senior Accounting Specialist, she now performs bookkeeping work and consults with clients on accounting matters, all while learning about small growing businesses.
In her free time, you can find Amelia at Worlds of Fun. She buys a season pass every year, but mostly so she can attend the Haunt every fall. Amelia loves all things crime and spooky. If she’s not indulging in a true crime podcast or documentary, she’s likely hanging out with her cat, Brad.
