Meet Amanda Pennington

As a Payroll/Benefits Specialist, Amanda appreciates and understands that organization and details are important in her role, and to say she likes organization, Amanda says is an understatement. Amanda and her husband have worked in the non-profit world for over two decades. She understands the challenges that come when walking this road, but also sees the beauty and outcomes of enduring the road less traveled. Along that road, she has worked, trained, and learned from others who have taught her the importance of good business practices including accountability, bookkeeping, payroll, time management and communication. She is passionate about using these skills and gifts to help small businesses and non-profits succeed.

Amanda attended Ozark Christian College, where she studied Biblical Knowledge. Born and raised in Oklahoma, Amanda married her high school sweetheart and together they have served as missionaries in Canada and Thailand. Though they have returned to Oklahoma to be near family, they continue their mission work with a focus on East Asia ministries. Amanda is excited to be part of expanding the news of the Gospel beyond US borders.

Spending time with her husband and their four children as well as hosting friends and family in their home while enjoying a meal around the table, preferably spicy Thai food, brings Amanda great joy. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Amanda enjoys baking with her kids, reading, working out with her daughter, and helping in her community.
